Reading Passage: Household Chores
Hello, I am Jack. In our family, everyone has responsibilities. We believe that sharing chores makes our life easier. My mother, Mary, cooks delicious meals and does the grocery shopping. She hates ironing, so my father helps her with that.
My father, Tom, is also responsible for paying the bills and washing the car. I have a sister named Alice. She is in charge of loading and emptying the dishwasher. She also sets the table before dinner.
As for me, I must keep my room tidy and feed our dog, Max. I don't mind feeding the dog, but I dislike taking out the garbage. However, we all cooperate to keep our house clean.
